Migration to Bazaar
After experiencing many hardships, data losses and cryptic error messages with git, our team has decided to give a go to another version control system. We have chosen to test Bazaar rather arbitrarily. It isn’t exactly better than git, it’s just that it’s a lot easier to use. So far we’ve ported over all our branches and code, and we’ll have a definite opinion about Bazaar for the great merge before the 0.3 release.
Our bazaar repositories sit on Etenil’s server, and until today, there wasn’t any user-friendly way to get to them. As a result, we haven’t touched our Gitorious accounts for a month and many of you must have been wondering whether we dropped the project.
Well Movim is going quite well and 0.3 is well under way, and if you want to keep up to date, I suggest you subscribe to the Atom feeds of our bazaar repositories which can be found at launchpad.
Note that the front-end doesn’t do caching (yet), so try not to overload it !
